I went to the Soul game last night. They won but did not really deserve to. They made foolish mistakes, their secondary was non-existent and the game was riddled with yellow flags for dumb penalties that the Soul made. The Soul clinched a playoff birth with that win but with their playing the last few games I don’t see them getting far.
C’mon guys! Get your game together and start playing like you were at the beginning of the season. You guys are a better team than you have been playing. Step it up.

The Soul will host their first home playoff game this Friday night at the Wachovia center versus the Orlando Predators.

Tampa Bay beat Austin which helped the Soul gain it's first home field advantage in a playoff game.

I will be there!!!!!

The Philadelphia Soul hosted their first home game in franchise history last night against the Orlando Predators. After giving up a quick touchdown on Orlando's first posession the Soul came back and managed to keep the game close. The two teams went into the locker rooms at the half tied but in the second half the Soul stepped up their game by frustrating Orlando's quarterback, stopping key third and fourth down plays, and putting punishing hits on the Orlando receivers and quarterback. The Soul went on to win and moving on to the second round of the AFL Playoffs.

We will have to wait for games this weekend to see who next the Soul will play but it seems likely that Dallas will be our next opponent in Dallas.

The Soul will play the Georgia Force. I feel a little better about them playing Georgia than I do playing Dallas. The Soul is still considered the underdogs going into this game but they can beat Georgia.

The Columbus Destroyers just defeated the Dallas Desparados in the playoffs. Columbus was a 6th seed and Dallas was the #1 seed.

This is good news for the Soul. If the Soul win tomorrow, there will be another home game where the Soul will play Columbus.

Soul play tomorrow night against the Georgia Force.
