| | Flyers' Knuble signs with Caps - The Delaware County Daily Times : Serving Delaware County, PA(DelcoTimes.com)
Kiss Mike Knuble goodbye, Flyers fans.
The orange and black lost out on bringing back Knuble Wednesday when the unrestricted free agent signed a two-year, $2.8 million deal with the Washington Capitals.
Both the Flyers and Knuble have expressed an interest to stay in Philadelphia, but the Flyers wouldn’t guarantee Knuble a second year on his new contract, asking for him instead to sign an incentive laden deal that would only last for one season.
Knuble wouldn’t give the Flyers that hometown discount, and instead will now play with Alexander Ovechkin and the Caps for the next two seasons.

| | | That would be a shame if Nitty went.
A GAA of less than 3... Twice as many wins as losses last season.... pretty much EVERY season except for the year the Flyers crapped the bed on both offense and defense...
Losing Sbisa and Knuble is bad enough. I think they should keep Antero around for a few more years. | Re: Philadelphia Flyers 2008-2009
