I was gonna go, but the wife just joined a pipe band and they practice on Thurs nites - she didn't think it was a good idea to bail on her first practice nite...oh well, I'll be at Stanley's if anyone is in the area!

Yay, Burrell got a hit.

It was a good comeback, although not enough to pull out a win.
I'm guessing we won't be seeing Kyle Kendrick anytime soon after his last two starts.

I'd love to go Thursday night ... it's going to be a beautiful and somewhat chilly evening for you guys. Perfect Fall ball!

Rich Dubee has Got.To.Go

And Charlie has no idea how to manage a bullpen.

Isn't it great that Pat Burrell gets pulled every game for a pinch runner, but Matt Freakin' Stairs was allowed to run last night...and cost us a run because he's so damn fat and slow?

I couldn't believe Burrell legged out that triple last night. You could tell he was stuggling though.

This is a fact! I do not understand his thinking when it comes to the bullpen.

IMO, he should never put Lidge in unless it's a save situation. Lidge can warm up all he wants between saves.

Manuel confuses me when it comes to the bullpen.

I had to go to a meeting in the 2nd inning, just after Kyle gave up the 7th run...imagine my shock to come home and its 10-8 in the 8th....and then dumb stuff started to happen.

Well, this is about it.

Realistically, we need to take 3 of 4 from the Brewers. I don't know if that can happen, but it needs to start tonite. Hopefully I can bring some good luck to the Park.
