Re: Phillies

I don't understand why Kyle wouldn't be able to. He's an athlete, and he didn't actually throw a game pitch but I know they are so hyper sensitive about these things. Who was scheduled after Kyle?

Re: Phillies

I am blaming the Phillies for my tardiness to work this morning

They kept me up until 12:30, but at least it was worth it.
I knew as soon as Victorino hit that triple that it was game over.
Great game!!!!

GO PHILLIES!!!

Re: Phillies

Brett Myers pinch hitting was a highlight for me.
That game was crazy.
Even Wheels said it was one of the best games he's ever seen with the 0-7 comeback vs Mets, crazy moves, crazy pinch hits, no players left, base stealing, regaining first place.... good stuff.

Re: Phillies

I still can't believe it. The way we kept stranding base runners inning after inning after inning...never thought we had a chance at winning that game.

Great stuff.

Re: Phillies

I kinda liked Cole's strikeout when he PH'd....he gave the ump a F-U glare when he struck out.

j/k

I thought is was funny how when Coste hit the ball, Beltran just gave up and ran towards the dugout, even though Shane would have scored on a touch up, he could have atleast looked like a pro and made the catch

I saw this too.... hopefully, Cole will have a different umpire team for his next start.
