NASCAR Dover Race Weekend

I went there a few years ago. Scared the hell out of me. I saw a sea of confederate flags. More of those than US flags. I felt really out of my element. The elevator operator was drunk, and called me "boy". A few guys walked past me and asked, WTF are you doing here?

I would go again, but i'm sitting in the skybox...

It's not like that now. I went last year after missing the year before and it was quite a diverse crowd (not equal in numbers but diverse).

I'll be there this year for the sunday race GL. I don't know about buying you a beer (cost a fortune) but, you can have some of the ones I bring.

I was there a year or so ago helping the Knights of Columbus earn some money by being "Master of the Grill" for their booth. Other than that I wouldn't get within 10 miles of Dover on Race Weekend.
