Welcome Lewin!!! I have played with the stick and string before, adnd I have realized that I now enjoy throwing the string in the water and waiting on a bite!!! Striper/rockfish, largemouth/smallmouth bass, shark, or anything that likes to take the line, and work the drag... I'm a fan of now... Hmm...can you catch one of those damn beavers on a 65Lb test with a circle hook, and agood cast????
