I'd hazard a guess that most Eagles fans don't think they have the best team around. But the Eagles are their team. And as such, they're going to root for them even when they suck giant, hairy, hippo balls in the last quarter of the season.

It's akin to being, say, a rabid Clay Aiken fan. You can't argue that he's the best singer around, but most of those graying, 50-something, screaming Midwestern housemoms think he's fucking awesome.

And they're giving him their money, so I really can't argue with that, now can I?

I could have compared them to Britney at the MTV Awards. All splash and pizzazz up until the moment it came to perform and then it was sloppy, drugged and ridiculously painful to watch.

As I do see your point. I also disagree. Because whenever the Eagles lose and they interview people on the news or radio. The first thing anyone says is like they suck, or typical. They just bash there team. I am not a Eagles fan for any means at all. Or shall I say any Philly teams. But I wll say stick with your team win or lose. I can not say much right now because I am kinda without a team. I stuck with the Falcons for years. But with all this Vick stuff I just can't gut it anymore. As a avid Dog Lover. I just can't take it. You can not tell me that nobody on that damn team knew anything. Yeah right. So therefore I just can't associate with that. I may go to the Steelers. Since my wife routes for them, and I seem to stay on top of them for something to talk about with the In-Laws. You can call me a wagon jumper or what ever you may like. I just can't say that I like them after the whole dog thing anymore. Sorry

Hey man-

That'd be reason enough for me to bail. And picking your wife's team to defect to makes sense, also.

But don't mistake fans slamming the team after a loss for fans abandoning the team. We vent. We get over it. We come back every week.

Yeah I understand that but don't say it on National TV or on the Radio. Have some passion for your team. Some sportsmanship for the other team. Stick by them win or lose. Say good job to the other team. You had to do it in sports growing up. You should take that to life in general. That's all I'm saying. Good job to the other team. Great game to the other team. No need to bash yours.
