There is a Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaze, Marriott and a Sheradon all on Broad Street off of 64.

Last year I stayed in Fredricksburg and there are a ton of hotels off of the 95 along Va 3.

Culpeper is another good place to the north to stay.

Culpeper and Fredricksburg both will be about 45 mins from Richmond.
