| Re: President Bush Boooed at Baseball Game. As much as I don't like what President Bush has done to this country I still agree with BC on the point of utter silence over booing. I try to teach my children respect, as in you give others respect that you want given back to you, but you show respect to authority figures period (like cops, teachers, etc.). He is still the president of this country and (God help us) a symbol of the US at this time. I feel it reflects badly on us as a nation that people would boo him in public like that. I try to show gratitude to any service men or women I see in public. I feel they deserve our respect for the sacrifices they make and the job they do for our country. And the bottom line is Bush won the election for his office. I can almost guarantee that some of those booing voted for him. If you don't like it the time to be heard is in the voting polls. Not on a baseball field. I personally will bash him to my republican parents as often as possible, but I'd never disrespect him like that. Just my opinion.......
