Delaware judges appointed to the federal bench would not lose their state pensions under legislation House Speaker Rep. Robert F. Gilligan introduced Thursday.

Bill would preserve state judges' pensions if appointed to federal bench | delawareonline | The News Journal

OK, so we have serious budget issues, and now we want to pay our crony-friends after they move on to the Federal bench?

THIS IS YOUR DEMOCRATIC STATE GOVERNMENT AT WORK!

My worst fear, Robert Gilligan becoming Speaker of the House was realized last year. This is a man who is on the state payroll as a "counselor" at DelTech and a legislator since the state ratified the constitution in 1787...you'll be paying his pension for years to come! Oh, and he'll probably give himself a raise in the near future.
