We stayed at a cool Hotel there once, i want to call it the Matrix but that's not it. It has like new and hip and kinda themed with super cool lighting and finishing and a round bed.....it was hot.

Check out the Marine Corp Museum in Quantico, VA it's not too far from D.C. and it is a very nice.

They have the flag from Mount Suribachi which I thought was pretty cool and a bunch of other stuff. The flag is kept in the dark though and you can't take pictures with flash because, they say it will ruin it.

I know this is late, but if anyone is reading this and planning on going to DC, you definitely need to hit up the Brick Skellar. It is in the Guiness Book of World Records for the bar with the biggest beer selection. They have an absolutley MAMMOTH menu to choose from--all sorts of beers you have never heard of and can barely pronounce, to crazy beers from Africa.
