My dad says this all the time.
I like a dimly lit, ambient atmosphere at a restaurant. Hell, that's how I keep my home lit. I don't dig a lot of light. Makes me feel like I'm in a hospital or at work or something. Soft/dim light relaxes me. A nice oil candle at the table and minimal overhead lighting is great for me.
Not pop. I can't take him out to eat somewhere like that.
