Pizza man: GPS saved my life By Rachael Samuels , 1150AM WDEL
The latest victim of pizza delivery robbery speaks out on what he thinks saved his life.
Rob Foraker, a pizza delivery man, was robbed and beaten last Monday night when he delivered pizza to a man standing in a parking lot.
Foraker, who ran for Governor, thanks the GPS capability on his cell phone for his life but says in the heat of the moment he couldn't remember which end was up.
Due to his lack of description or forensic evidence in the case, police have not uncovered any suspects.

I couldnt deliver any type of food. Around my way. The guy hardly leaves the car. I only get delivery from one place, and those guys know me cuz i'm a regular. But 90 percent of the time you have to wave them. and show the money before they even open the screen door.

LOL... It wasn't me, I was in another part of town.......Sounds like they did a number on him though.....

Roog....I used to deliver to a few places where I wouldn't stop (read Simonds Gardens, Rosegate, Garfield Park, after hours)....
I'd creep up to the house,(driveby style) blow the horn two times, then roll the window down just enough to slide out the pizza, then take off......Damn I hated not getting paid for those pizzas.... But hey... I value my life......
In all seriousness... I would hope that a man could deliver food to aother man without the fear of getting beat down......

Rob needs a big gun (along with the necessary permit of course).
For those "drive up to the suspicious man in the parking lot" situations, don't even bother to get out of the car, just drive up to him and hand the pizza over for the money. If they are going to rob you, toast 'em (with optional flame throwers of course).

Even though RF and I have had our issues, I'd never wish something like that on him. It is kind of ironic to me though since he was the one to video tape stuff in bad neighborhoods, where was his camcorder? It said he couldn't describe the guys, that would have been the night to have the camcorder running! I've heard of this happening more frequently lately, some people are just straight up low life thugs. That sucks when someone can't even do their job without added fear.
Not A big fan of RF but no one deserves that,poor Rob.Nothing pisses me off more than someone stealing,i would give anythimg i have to anybody just ask,but dont steal from me.Rob is doing what he has to do to pay bills and put food on the table and some asshole feels he can just take it from people who are earning money...make me sick, i hope they catch these people doing this, its happened about 6 or so times in the last month or two.
