Are you a Native of Delaware?

I was born in Souix City, IA and moved to CA from 2-4 y/o. When I was 4 we moved to VA, then NJ, Philly, and then settled in Newark, DE when I was 11. I lived in Newark until I was 25 and then moved below the cannal, never looked back I love it down here in slower lower. My hubby and kids are all natives though. Hubby was born and raised in Leipsic, crabbin boy.

I was born in the old Wilmington General hospital then lived in CO on my grandparents farm for a few years then back to DE. I've lived in Pike Creek area, Hockessin, Bear and now in Newark.

Born at the old Wilmington General, the daughter of a second generation Delawarean and a West Virginia transplant. Spent my first six months in Newark and the next 16.5 years in Hockessin. Lived in Maine for 4 years while going to college and returned to live in Hockessin for another 9 years until I moved to Pike Creek.

born in Wilmington General as well....lived in Wilmington until I was 2, then moved to Newark, then Port Penn, then Delaware City, now Bear!....so there you go....Delaware all my life!

Born in Delaware left at 6. Military Brat. Raised in England and Germany mostly England.Joined Navy at 18 done 6 active and 16 years 6 months reserves. College in England then worked nearly 30 years for British Petroleum.

If there was a fight going on chances are I was there. If its an oil producing nation I have been there. Worked offshore rigs/rig support salvage vessels in North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Indian Ocean and Caspian Sea.

2 eldest daughters born in Dordrecht Netherlands. Eldest son born in Moscow USSR as it was then. Youngest daughter born San Diego Ca.

Currently in BFE Iowa and cant wait to return to Delaware in the next few weeks.

Looking forward to living in the home we have built there. It will be the first that we know we will not be leaving now we are retired.

Delaware has always been a special place. Most who leave will come back.

Born in Wilmington General. Born, raised, and still resides in Wilmington's Eastside. My wife is born and raised from Riverside.
