Who are the geniuses at DELDOT

that decided to do construction on 141N where faulkland road is, AND block off the 95 exits on 141, AND do construction on 295 right near the RT 13 exit?


You can't take 141 in the morning to northern parts of DE so everyone takes 95 and the 202 exit backs wayyyyyyyyy up. In the afternoon you can't take 141 back so everyone tries to take 95 into New Castle which backs up the 141 ramp from 95 into New Castle. If you try to take 295 exit from 95 to Rt. 13 good luck. It is a bottle neck that takes forever to get through during rush hour because of the construction. If you want to completely avoid 95 all together good luck. Rt. 13 is the only other way from northern parts of DE into New Castle and Rt. 13 is horrendous during rush hour from just outside Wilmington all the way down the 13/40 split. In the evenings 141 can be backed up because all of the ramps are closed to 95.


Seriously DELDOT did you have to do all of these projects at once?

BTW 295 constrution has NOTHING to do with DelDOT. I-295 from 95 to the first exit on jersey side is all owned by Delaware River Bay Athurity

They need to do as much construction as possible, or else they won't/don't get as much money from the gov't next time (for future work)....
