Who are the geniuses at DELDOT

I suggested to DE;l Dot years ago that they could save money if they just put up signs that said
No Road Construction ahead.

Never got a reply, guess it just made too much sense.

include where you are...where our trying to go....and most importantly time of day...

it may sound dumb...but a lot of people just know one route...or they don't know of less populated areas...

nine times out of 10 there is always a different route you can take...especially on the weekends!

I did not read this thread untill now because i thought at was fiction, there are no geniuses at DELDOT, Just Jokers.

I've cut back on trips to Costco because of this road destruction. What used to be a half-hour ride home has now doubled or tripled, and the worst part is that there is no end in sight. I told my husband to expect that the road destruction and parking-lot traffic will continue at least until we move out of here (in late '09 or early '10) and possibly beyond. Once they seal off a road around here, it's not just for a few weeks or months...It's gone for YEARS.
