I've tried four times to post replies to various threads on this forum. I log on, click post reply, compose the reply and click "preview response."

It then makes me log back on. The screen goes white and my post is gone. This has happened 4-times in the past two weeks.

It has also happened over the past couple of years, but it's been infrequent. Lately, though, it has been happening too much.

Is it happening to others? I'm getting a bit tired of it, myself.

Regards,

Joe Walther

I used to have this checked. I never unchecked it--at least not intentionally. I'll recheck it, though.

Well I miss you, too, Chase. I know you'll work night and day to fix things. My frustration is simply that... frustration. My posts and replies being the absolute personification of brevity, I simply can't understand what that check box has to do with this.

I've posted many times, hitting the preview button just as many times. The system has made me log back on just as many times. However, it seldom loses my work.

I just log back on, it thanks for for doing so, and presto... there is my post in its entirety. I hit submit and it appears in the forum.

Over this past two weeks, though, this has not been the case. After hitting the preview button, I receive the log-on screen again. I log on and that's the end of it... a white screen with the word DONE in the lower right.

Regards,

Joe Walther

Is it maybe switching you between www.talkdelaware.com and "talkdelaware.com" or vice versa?

I had this happen to be many times when I first became a member. It's very frustrating and most of the time I wouldn't bother to retype my reply.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it.... but it only happened to me when I was with Comcast. It hasn't happened since I switched to Verizon.

I've always kept the "remember me" box ticked.

Glad to see you back Joe!

Same with me. Now I just click the remember me button whenever I first sign in. That is sooooo frustrating to lose a whole reply! The way I type it takes me forever. Hope you get it sorted out soon, you've been missed, always the voice of reason and great information! Hope you can post again soon!
