I'm sure everyone here has heard of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. Awesome book, fantastic movie!

However, long before the new movie came out there was the online text adventure game.

Online text adventure games are pretty cool. Zork was a big one. You'd type in a command like "North" "South" "West "East" etc, or other directions, up, down, etc, or there was 'look', 'help', 'inventory' and more, depending on the game. What happened next was all based upon what that command may be.

The original HGTTG game was all text, no graphics, the old site is still around, but people go to the new site to play the game (with graphics!!) now.

Douglas Adams is my favorite author! I used to watch the BBC original series all the time when I was little! I love that tele show/movies and all the books in that series!

I lost interest in Adams' work after the 2nd book...I've tried to find the frame of mind to appreciate it again, but then the updated movie came out and knocked the will out of me.
