Hey Chase... don't supporters also get space for blogs and such??

| | | I was one of those very vocal but didn't spend the few bucks to become a supporter.
This is because I don't have a pay pal account, I don't have a credit card, and I didn't want to have to explain to my SO what I was trying to use his for, because 1) he'd bitch about giving money to the site and it would turn into a huge argument about what I choose to do with my money and 2) He'd probably sign up. And then we'd have.. *checks her post count* about 2,000 other things to fight about.
I tried to win the last contest so I could tell Chase to just keep the money and give me a membership, but I didn't end up winning.. and without knowing my plan, Zippy did the same thing, but bought a membership for me, 'cause he's an awesome dude like that.
So. I don't judge anybody else for their supporter status. Who knows what their story is. | | The Following 9 Users Say Thank You to Pythoness For This Useful Post: | | | |

| | | I up graded after I emailed Chase because I wanted to be able to change my tag line under my screen name. I'm an idiot and never clicked on the yellow upgrade button at the top of the screen. DUH! Never said I was the sharpest tool in the shed! lol I would have upgraded a long time ago if I had known about it, just to support the site, cause I am soooo addicted!! Hubby upgraded as soon as he joined so he could have a person tag line too. Copy cat! j/k hon!

| | | Really guys, I built this site cause I wanted to build it, and I could run this site with no donations from members, and I would be fine with that. The money that IS donated goes toward things like added features, advertising online, hosting cost, domain renewals, software renewals, and buying advertising materials amongst other things.
To be dreadfully honest, I have no idea why Steve bumped this thread...lol, really. I would never ask, or expect donations from anyone.Let me say this, Being here, active, interacting and posting is FAR FAR FAR more important to me then donating your money. We all know, time is money, and the time some have spent here FAR outweighs any monetary contribution.
Thank you all,
