OK, so I thought that survey was lame so I figured I'd write my own.

If this board works as so many others do, this post will appear long before I've had the time to finish creating the survey, so if you don't see one, be patient, it's coming.

In this survey, you may check all that apply to your musical likings. There will be no resulting summary, just a poll to see who likes what, who's in the mainstream and who is on the fringes.

Oh, and if you are going to tell me there's no choice for "Country", that's cuz this is a MUSIC poll.

Enjoy!

The stupid polls thingy only allowed for 10 choices which seriously limited the scope of what I had originally intended. I may have to revamp the poll using tools from the internet.

Sorry!

Well, a no vote and your statement shall suffice... does that mean you are also into Country or Christian Music? Or some edgy derivative like "House" or "AMBIENT"

I rarely listen to music and I sure as hell wouldn't buy music but I made a few choices based on what I could stand to listen to provided that I'm not able to dial in any sort of talk radio.

*Hell, I'll tune in to NPR before music ...

yup....I used to be a dj. I like everything except country and bluegrass and anything remotely like country. If you saw my iPod, you would think I'm psychotic.

I have weird musical tastes from my strange Grateful Dead/Neil Young upbringing to my 10 years working for a music company. I'd have to say I prefer Jam Bands, Indie, House and Alternative. I also enjoy many powerful Classical pieces.

One constant throughout my years of evolving musical stylings .... I've never liked country.

Sorry Zip!

M.O. - I feel for you. You don't know what you're missing. Talk Radio is fine and informative, but it can't uplift you and touch your "soul" the way music can, whatever genre you prefer. I'm a music collector and music junkie. You could lock me in my cave/media room for a year and with books and music I have, I would never be bored once.
