Science makes things like the lunar landing possible. But it's the combination of human courage, dedication to mission, and the most incredible computer the human race has ever witnessed--the human brain--that makes it all look so easy and flawless.

We watched the landing on our first little TV in our first little Apartment. I'm sure I didn't breathe until they safely settled down. At that time nobody knew for sure whether the surface would be solid or Eagle would disappear into many feet of lunar dust. What a sight! Joe, thanks for the memories.
