I am a Christian but I find these folks to be a tad extreme, but they are entitled to their opinions and beliefs.
If the truth be known, man, woman, or child, come after me with the intent to kill you better be good because I will kill you in a heartbeat and then relieve myself on your body.
To some I'm sure that is a little far out, I mean the peeing part.

There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that there really ARE terrorist training groups right here in the USA. The people reporting it may be a little extreme, but who else is going to do it? Surely not Big Media, 'Let's not cause a panic and get our station in trouble.'
I, for one, at least appreciate what these people are trying to do in exposing these training camps, even if theyre not always 100% correct.

My computer deleted a very lengthy post I have on this topic.
To sum up:
I pity every one of you who live in fear because 19 assholes managed to pull a fast one on our country.
I truly do.
I've always equated pedophiles with murderers. Death penalty, I say. And I have no qualms with that, whatsoever. A grown man talking, here. I'm serious when I say this.
There are so many more Catholics who have been proven to be pedophiles than Muslims who have ever killed Americans.
I want all Catholics watched, monitored, deported, and basically...I want you all to live in fear of Catholics.
BTW... I was raised Catholic.
Thanks to most of you for not lumping me in with things I had nothing to do with.
Honestly, I have no respect for any opinion born of the fear of 9/11.
There's intelligent response to lapses in security. And then there's just the Basic Diploma of internet posting. Just because you know how to work the 'puter, doesn't mean you belong in the adult classes.

Kid; wow are you off base on this one.....there are BIG differences between catholics and Christians. While I agree with you that there are a bunch of catholics who do bad things, but come on how many violent acts can we attribute to those in this country? Remember the MUSLIM terrorists who ATTACKED us killed 3000 thats quite a bit more then the catholics have done in a while. On top of that are the catholics cutting peoples heads off and filming it for all to see? are they killing our troops and hanging them from bridges? are they killing or troops and dragging them through the streets? no they are not and even at their worst they are shooting abortion doctors from far away and even that does not happen that much.
So you can take away any respect I guess you had for me because my fear is born of 9/11, it opened my eyes to who our enemies are. One last difference man, Christians forgive....Muslim terrorists do not...

Fear of another 9/11 is not a good way to live.
Being complacent is even worse. If and when we leave our guard down and our we are attacked again we will groan on the signs we missed (again). Being diligent to your surroundings and what is going on is the best way. I agree terrorists should be sent throw a wood chipper while alive and facing west but if one of these "terrorists" in this video are coming after you (which I do doubt since if its true they are going for a higher profile person) they will sneak up on you while your back is turned , sleeping or in some other way not expecting it.

There's a big difference between fear and awareness. This shit is happening right in our own country and you make light of it? Go ahead back to the pre 9/11 mindset and everything is ok, nothing to worry about. Sorry Kid, you got me a little pissed with this post.

I agree with that 100%.

That has got to be the most idiotic thing you have ever said. There have been over 14,000 terrorist attacks since 9/11. I'd be willing to bet the number of catholics killed in those attacks far outweigh the amount of victims at the hands of priests.

I'd want to be more aware of their agenda if they started beheading people and flying 747's into buildings to make a point.

I don't see the relevance in that.

This has nothing to do with the average muslim in america and you know that.

I'll tell you what, I'll be aware of what is going on in this country and you can look the other way in denial and hope everything will be fine.
I guess we can't always agree. I still love ya Kid! If I misinterpreted what you posted, please by all means correct me. It won't be the first time I made an ass of myself.

I'm afraid that the more eloquent post I was trying to make in this thread hit the shitbox somehow, and I had to redo it, and, it was getting kind of late at that point. So I may have been more abrasive in the point I was trying to make than I intended to be.
My point, as it were, is that I'm just getting tired of this Guilt By Association mantra that's going around. My Catholics vs. Muslims theme was to illustrate that you simply cannot blame a multitude of people for the actions of a very small minority of their group. The relevance in my Catholic upbringing was to note that I obviously don't have any hatred or misunderstanding of Catholics, and that I was making a point, not smearing a religion. You have 2 religions in the news lately. One for child abuse, and one for terrorist acts. If you want to blame Islam for the problems we face in this country in regards to safety, then it's hypocritical not to blame Catholicism for child abuse. And I say both are ridiculous.
I appreciate the vigilance of those who care about our country, and don't want to see Political Correctness blind us to possible dangers. I do. Sincerely. But, barring the indication of a crime in conspiracy...like, I dunno...a bunch of Middle Easterners taking flight classes but only wanting to learn how to navigate and not how to take off or land...or purchases of potential explosives or fertilizer or what have you...or anything that our intelligence sources discover is "untoward" in regards to certain individuals...I assume that for the most part, people living here want the same thing I want. To find some happiness and live in peace.
Of course there's crackpots. And hate filled individuals. I just don't think they're all Muslim. And I'm not willing to go down the road of singling out a particular religion for persecution. Not in my country, I'm not.
There is no such thing as perfect safety. We have rights like no other nation in the world. That comes with a price. The price is, people are innocent until proven guilty in a fair trial. Until then, we're all the same. We have many agencies designed to protect us from criminals and would-be evil doers. I'll let them do their jobs. And hope like hell they keep getting better at it. But what I won't do is blame an entire creed for the acts of some. I don't like where that road leads. Not even a little bit.

Thanks kid for explaining. Sorry I went off a little there. It sure didn't sound like your usual posts. I got your point loud and clear but I'm at the point where I look at the muslim religion with suspicion. I don't want to but from what I see everyday in the news and elsewhere, I can't help it. And no, I don't look at all muslims that way. There are some aholes that will accuse me of being an islamaphobe. Let me clear one thing up for them just in case. Fear has nothing to do with it I assure you.
