They are my favorite shorts of this summer. I read "Kon-Tiki" late in the Spring this year (and loved it) and happened upon these shorts at J.Crew. They seemed to fit my literary mood at the time and have served my beachy mood all summer long. That tends to happen with me and clothes. Last summer was my madras summer....I'll let you know what this fall's theme will be when it hits me.

I babysat my nephew last night...Here's him playing with my dog. Or more correctly, trying to gouge my dog's eyes out. He's lucky he's so damn CUTE!

And the big ox of a dog just takes it ? If so that is good training, Our big dog would hurt anybody and if a kid did this to him he would try to get out of there ASAP and hid for the whole night lol

That dog is the biggest pussycat ever! He's EXTREMELY gentle. He just turns his head if the kid's getting on his nerves or walks away. We've got him really well trained and the only time he even barks is when people come to the front door or when the mailman pushes the mail through the slot.

WARNING: Someone who cares about me is well trained in the use of their weapon and accurate at 800 meters.
