My Mood: | | | Re: Kids with rude parents in public. Monkey see monkey do, you know if the parents teach the kids the manners they use them. If the parents don't teach the manners then there is nothing to use. It is no ones fault other than that of the person(s) responsible for teaching the Child the proper ways of life. Did you ever see a upscale restaurant have very unruly kids in it? Normally no as the people that can afford such luxury's will not allow or tolerate this kind of behavior. Now I am not saying you need to be rich to have good kids as god knows I am not rich and my kids have very good manners, I am only stating the obvious. So if you have kids that don't listen look in the mirror first to find the reasons.

My Mood: | | | Re: Kids with rude parents in public. It is refreshing to see a well behaved kid. I go up to PA to shop at a Amish grocery store and it is amazing to see all the Amish kids so well behaved. Some parents could take lessons from the Amish. Kids are what you make them or should I say teach them. Quote:

My Mood: | | | Re: Kids with rude parents in public. I remember when I was that age that if I didnt mind my manners, I got popped in the mouth, and if I was really bad I was taken into the restroom and got an ass beatin'. Although there are so many laws now about child abuse, what you can do and what you cant do, this is still unacceptable. the parents should have enough responsibility to control their children, if they cant control their kids then they need to give them up for adoption because if they cant control their kids, then they dont need them and they need parenting lessons, and as for the guy on the phone, I would have snatched it out of his hand, told the person that he had to take care of his children and make him control his kids. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Drake For This Useful Post: | |

I think my Mother hit me twice in my life but boy was I scared to death of the piercing blue eyes and what might happen.
