My brother is an electrician, working 7 days a week outdoors at a site. He says the key is to bring six big bottles of gatorade in a cooler, and eat really lightly.

Still, that must absolutely suck. I was walking my dog this morning at 6:30 and it was already ridiculously hot. I had to go to work with sweaty pits and an afro from the humidity.

You got that right. Working on outdoor hot tubs in winter SUCKED. When you're in the pool business you have to accept the fact that you are going to get wet, no matter how hard you try not to. And wet hands in February wasn't fun.

I'd rather sweat my ass off then freeze it off any day.

Drink plenty of water and dress lightly. Take breaks if you are in the sun. My s/o does construction work and that's what he does. I am watching the Early Show on CBS right now and they are saying "Hydrate for a healthy body".

And for me I try and stay in because I dislike the the summer. I love it when it's cold.
