Re: How do people do it?

Wow. This thread took a right turn... Right down female fantasy lane...

I worked for a pool company for years. Everything from building to repairing to cleaning to delivering chemicals.
Yes ladies. For many years I was "the pool man..." (queue porno music...) lol

When it got REALLY hot I would occasionally "drop" a tool in the pool and have to go get it... darn....
And I would chat up the female lifeguards at the pool clubs and apartments, as well as lonely housewives (apparently they fell into "the pool man" fantasy also, but that's another story and only safe in the Edge). But it wasn't all fun. Working at the bottom of an empty pool hammering our concrete and plaster is NOT my idea of relaxing...

I was no stud, but lifting chemicals in 50lb. bags all day sure kept me trim.
Now I sit in an office and complain about the heat when I step out for a smoke. Some days I miss the outside work, but not today...

Re: How do people do it?

I used to work construction during the summer when I was back in high school. And the heat really isn't all that bad, you get used to it after the first week or so. As long as you keep youself hydrated then its no problem at all

I'm telling you... my man is hot! He's got that nice tight 6 pack abs and arms that are rock solid. God I love those arms! lol

I love watching him work and sweat and he just doesn't get it! He'll be like let me jump in the shower and I'm like, only if I get to help! lol

Re: How do people do it?

You ladies all have a case of the horney's. There must be something in the air today.

When I get home I'll ask the GF to stand outside and take a few deep breaths....

Re: How do people do it?

You do get used to the heat. I started moving my mother into her our apartment today in the heat, Chase helped too- thanks buddy! I hit the shower then into work- the AC in my car has been out this is the 3rd summer. I worked in Arizona a few years ago from May to December and only used the car AC twice -except when company came out. As my daddy used to say "you can always find shade easier than fire" translation: it's better working outside in summer than winter

Exclamation Re: How do people do it?

I work outside during the day, here and there, then in the Air Conditioned truck between stops, it varies on the amount of time I'm out depending on what I'm doing but, I drink plenty of coffee and also wear a sweatshirt and long pants all year long ...
