Sorry, I'm pretty much a blue collar girl, I love watching guys work and build up a sweat. I like my guys to know there way around tools and to be handy enough to fix things without calling someone else to do it.
Basically, when you have done it since you were young enough, you just get used to it. Lots of water and lots of gatorade, the important thing is to stay hydrated.
I love driving by construction sites in the middle of summer and seeing the guys without their t shirts and those tight abs.... damn. No, I don't want to see your beer belly... lol

I soooo agree with Dreamz on the hot construction workers. Hubby used to work construction when we dated....mmmmmmm....he'd come over after work in ripped up jeans and work boots with flowers for me and my girls. Made my mouth water! lol He always told me you get used to the heat and just drink LOTS of water. But the heat will wear you out too.

I wish our guys understood the concept of "weeds." Then they would remove some of them.
well really they do not. He has "special" people for the weeds last year i was complaining to the landscaper about them not weeding and we came home one day and they had cut everything even all my rose bushes to the ground. We lost 6 that never came back. It is not often that I raise my voice but that night Dave, the owner heard the wrath of my temper.
when it gets like this we mix up a big container of Gatorade for the guys in the shop. Keep them hydrated
My DH works on trailers all day in a garage with no ventilation or a/c. I make him gallons of gatorade and his work supplies all the cold water he needs. The nuckle heads that work with him bring in liters of soda to drink all day,,,, and they wonder how hubby can make it all day and they cant. Idiots.
