It's been too long since the last one...8th grade, I think. I don't go lookin' for 'em, but I don't back down...never have - it's the Irish in me.
First off, if I made the decision to enter into fisticuffs, I've already sized up the foe and at that point there is no methodology except WIN. So, nothing is "dirty".
Back in my 20's there were a number of bar brawls that I was near (never directly involved in though), and I always have a plan if the fight came to me (usually it was pick up the stool my butt was on and start swinging.
So while much older and wiser now, I always enjoy watching a good fight (which is why minor league hockey is so great!), but other than defensive, I couldn't see myself involved in one anymore. Plus, I've got too many ties to the State and County Police and it would look plain stupid for a "civic leader" to be involved in a fist fight.
