I find it amusing that some people can't see the obvious parallels between God/Jesus and Santa Claus. Just a few for you to ponder:
God is omnipotent (all powerful).
Santa is omnipotent (can deliver all the toys of the world in one night.)
God is omniscient (knows all).
Santa is omniscient (knows if you’ve been bad or good).
God commands children to obey parents.
Santa tells children to obey parents.
God is eternal/ageless.
Santa Claus is eternal/ageless.
The hour of God's coming is a mystery.
The hour of Santa's coming is a mystery (for the most part).
God lives in the north (Heaven).
Santa lives at the North Pole.
Jesus was a carpenter.
Santa's a carpenter (builds toys).
Jesus said "Suffer the little children to come unto me."
Santa bids children to come to him.
God judges.
Santa judges whether or not you were good or bad.
God is referred to as the Everlasting Father.
Santa is referred to as Father Christmas
God has the disciples.
Santa has the Elves.
To answer the question originally posted, Is God Really Out There? IMO, he's out there as much as Santa's out there.
