instant communication is the bane of parents with teens. The tech these days are faster than thought. Trust, education, and as much oversight as i can, is all i can do as a parent. my daughter is 16. i track cell records, temp files, and other stuff.

I had a friend in high school who lived in a single-wide trailer in a local trailer court who had boys climbing in and out of her window on a regular basis for a variety of reasons FOR YEARS and her parents never knew. There were times that I would be visiting, I'd be out in the family room and when I'd go back to her room she would tell me, "you just missed ...." I never heard a thing.
