I agree with the same and its led me to do my laundry between 10pm - 2am on weekends.

I've been noticing that a lot more apartment buildings are including the W/D in the units now.

We *just* moved out of a place that had a washer and dryer in the unit. I stopped over there yesterday to get a pack of cigarettes from the store across the street and watched 8 county cops break up a 60 person "family reunion gone riot" in the section 8 housing right next to it.

Yeah no thanks.

geez, you're kidding me? I guess I've gotten used to living here, I've almost gotten callous to the crime. One more year....One more year, then I'm outta here

Nope, no kidding. I always stop over there on a Sunday on my way home from work, 'cause I love the people who work in there.

Well yesterday when I pulled in.. Parking lot's deserted except for two of the people who work there and two other guys standing in the parking lot.

One of the employees of the store said, "Hey Py! Come look at this.."

So I walked over to where they were, and it was just in time to see a couple of cops macing a huge group of people. Seriously macing, too. They weren't playin' around. This was no quick squirt to someone's face and done. They just kept sprayin - the whole crowd.

I said, "What the hell is all that mess?"

The guy who works there said some guy came scurrying through right as the cops showed up and said it was a family reunion.

They took so many people away in handcuffs they needed a van and an SUV. And that's not counting the people who were in the back of the cop cars of the original responding officers.

Ahh, fun times in the Bear ghetto.

I never understood why apartments still have one washer & dryer to an entire building.

I agree with DCG about going to the laundromat...either way you'll be spending money, but at least you'll get your laundry done when you need it to get done.
